Helpful Note:
If you use your battery all year round or at least a few times a week then it will last, the problem is a lot of bikes do not get used in the winter seasons, resulting in a discharged battery that will never be quite the same in the following spring. If this sounds familiar then the best thing to do is take the battery off the motorbike at the end of the season, charge it and put away in a frost-free dry area. Place it off the floor and recharge the battery every 8-weeks for a maximum of 24-hours. If left on the bike then you do not know what may be draining the battery, but this maybe OK providing you are going to make regular checks on the voltage with a meter to be sure, but most people do not, they just become frustrated come the summer that the battery has failed, when in fact its often their lack of attention to the battery requirements.
